Portuguese market debut with Casino Portugal

ESA Gaming has entered the Portuguese market for the first time after a signing a deal to provide its EasySwipe™ titles to leading local operator Casino Portugal.

Casino Portugal’s customers will soon be able to play ESA’s EasySwipe™ titles, including best performing Fruit Staxx. Players will later gain access to ESA’s upcoming titles with several releases scheduled for the year.

The company has a land-based history and launched its online brand as the Portuguese market opened in 2016.The deal marks ESA’s first foray into the Portuguese market following a certification process that will allow for further deals in the country. Online gaming revenue in Portugal increased by 58% during the fourth quarter of 2020 with online slots accounting for 71% of gameplay.
